Preliminary Task - Research And Planning - How did I think about the target audience?

I thought about the
by focusing on what encourages young adults to
read the magazine. To ensure my work doesn't become totally irrelevant or misleading, I travelled to schools in different destinations, asking pupils what they find interesting in magazines. They said things like:

"Make sure you keep it simple, not too much info" Stella, 15 (Charles Edward Brooke School)

"Jokes and interesting facts will increase me to read more of the magazine - bear that in mind"
Martin, 15 (Norwood School)

"Don't make it too colourful or else it just looks like a handheld Cbeebies magazine"
Andrea, 16 (Lilian Baylis Technology School)

So I simplified their quotes into this one so it can motivate me to keep on track:
"Simplicity is better than a great big deal of jargon"

I consistently maintained the level of language so the target audience wasn't

(confused)

(satisfied and happy with what they're reading)

I learnt how to Export files as a PDF and produce sophiscated magazine covers on Adobe inDesign.

I learnt how to structure layers properly on Adobe Photoshop using group folders and vector masks.
